Job Description:

are looking for qualified and experienced Alternate Education
Intervention Teachers throughout select counties in
Florida.
- In-person teaching at private schools in the following
counties: Clay, Manatee, Volusia
- Multi-year/year-round program - ASAP through 9/30/24
- $30 per hour
- Opportunity to work this current school year, summer, and/or
next school year based on your availability (summer not
required)
- Part-time schedules (11.25 hours per week)
- Push-in sessions during regular school hours 2-3 days per
week
- Reading and/or Math instruction for grades 6-8 & 9-12 depending
on assignment; students are at least 2 grade levels behind
- Alternative education campuses with a neglected/delinquent

studentsTeacher Job Duties:
- Instruct to students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face
school setting.
- Deliver designated instructional models to eligible
students.
- Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson
plans.
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including
escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines
(student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports,
parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance
documentation).
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by
company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors,
classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
- Other duties as assigned.Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Willingness and ability to teach various grade levels
- Must pass the Department of Justice background check process,
including a drug screen
- Teaching Certificate is preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
- Experience with Alternative Education environments a plus
