Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
professional role is available for an experienced Teacher of the
Visually Impaired (TVI) with Orientation and Mobility (O&M)
certification to support K-12 students. This position is ideal for
educators passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives
of visually impaired learners and will involve collaboration with
Seminole County Public Schools. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instructional services to K-12 students with visual
impairments. Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) tailored to student needs. Provide orientation and mobility
training ensuring student safety and independence. Collaborate with
classroom teachers, families, and support staff to enhance learning
outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: Valid educator
certification in the state. National Certification in Orientation
and Mobility (O&M). Experience working with visually impaired
students across K-12 grade levels. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Ability to manage a flexible, part-time
schedule working approximately 10-15 hours per week over two days.
Location and Schedule: Position based in Orlando, FL. Contract term
runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026. Part-time work commitment,
