Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a vibrant
elementary school located near Ocala, FL. This contract role spans
the current school year, from late February through the end of May,
working 2 to 3 days per week (approximately 15-20 hours). The
position involves collaborating closely with another SLP to serve a
shared caseload of 60-65 students ranging from PreK through 5th
grade. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and
language services across a variety of disabilities, including
general education speech/language impairments, intensive support
for spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, developmental
delays in PreK, and supporting students who use communication
devices. Both SLPs practice together in a well-equipped large room,
fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications: Valid Florida Department of Health license for
Speech Language Pathology Professional licensure required; support
is available for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
Experience working with diverse pediatric populations, including
developmental and communication disorders Ability to work
effectively within a shared caseload model and collaborate with
educational teams Location: Work is required on-site at an
elementary school near Ocala, FL, allowing for direct student
engagement and teamwork. This role offers an excellent opportunity
