Water is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work as an
assistant for shop and installation crews. The Individual must be
active and able to lift and maneuver 50-pound equipment. The ideal
candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and
isnt afraid to pick up a hammer or wrench to get the job done. The
Field Installation Technician position is a full-time position in
our Gainesville, Florida shop location. Production hours are from
7:30am 4:00pm. Job Responsibilities: Assist with shop fabrication,
assembly, and general maintenance tasks. Cut, drill, and fit
materials including structural aluminum, stainless steel piping,
fiberglass, and PVC. Perform basic plumbing and mechanical tasks
such as cutting and gluing PVC pipes and fittings. Handle equipment
setup, movement, and inspection. Use hand tools and power tools for
repair, maintenance, and fabrication work. Maintain a clean, safe,
and organized work environment. Occasionally travel to job sites to
support installation crews as needed. Follow all Health & Safety
procedures and company standards. Travel to various project sites
as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Hands-on experience
with basic construction, repair, or fabrication tools (e.g.,
hammers, wrenches, drills, saws). Comfortable working with
materials like PVC, stainless steel, fiberglass, and wood. Able to
lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Strong mechanical aptitude and
attention to detail. Works well independently and as part of a
team. Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn. Excellent
safety awareness and work ethic. Must hold a valid drivers license.
