rate. Summary Objective The Senior Safety Manager is a strategic
leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and
continuously improving a comprehensive enterprise-wide safety
management system. This position serves as the primary
subject-matter expert on occupational health, safety, and
environmental compliance, driving a proactive, zero-incident safety
culture across all Stellar Energy operations, including fabrication
facilities, project sites, and corporate offices. The Senior Safety
Manager leads a team of safety professionals, influences executive
leadership, and ensures full regulatory compliance while aligning
safety initiatives with business objectives. Essential Functions
Design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise-wide health,
safety, and environmental (HSE) management system in accordance
with OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, and other applicable federal, state, and
local regulations. Lead the development and execution of strategic
safety plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuous
improvement initiatives to achieve industry-leading safety
performance. Oversee OSHA injury/illness recordkeeping, BLS
reporting, and electronic submissions; ensure timely and accurate
regulatory reporting. Direct root-cause investigations for
incidents, near-misses, and high-potential events using advanced
methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone); develop corrective and
preventive action plans. Manage workers’ compensation program in
collaboration with Human Resources, including claim oversight,
return-to-work programs, and cost-containment strategies. Supervise
and mentor safety team members, providing coaching, performance
evaluations, and professional development opportunities. Partner
with senior leadership, Production, Engineering, and Project
Management to integrate safety into design, procurement, and
execution phases (Prevention through Design). Develop and deliver
executive-level safety training, leadership engagement programs,
and facility-wide awareness campaigns. Chair the Corporate Safety
Committee and facilitate weekly safety meetings, monthly management
reviews, and annual safety culture surveys. Lead preparation and
response for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, OSHA VPP, and third-party audits;
serve as primary point of contact for regulatory inspections.
Benchmark industry best practices and implements innovative
technologies (e.g., wearable sensors, drone inspections, safety
management software) to elevate safety performance. Manage safety
capital and operational budgets, including procurement of PPE,
monitoring equipment, and training resources. Administer global
safety training platforms (LMS) and ensure 100% compliance with
mandatory training requirements. Provide technical guidance on
emerging regulations, hazard communication (GHS), process safety
management (PSM), and environmental permitting as needed.

our Jacksonville, FL manufacturing facilities. This position is not
approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Work Environment
This position is based at our manufacturing facility which is an
industrial environment. While performing the duties of this job,
the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles,
moving mechanical parts, loud noise and vibration. The employee is
occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. Physical
Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to
walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and
arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to
stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10
pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust
focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time
position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however this is subject to change
due to business needs. Travel Travel is expected for this position

and safety Executive-level communication and influencing abilities
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, and international
safety standards Proficiency in safety management information
systems (SMIS) and data analytics Preferred Education and
Experience Certificate in Safety Management Bachelor’s degree in
safety management or related field Additional Eligibility
Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and
Outlook Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the USA.
