Systems Sector has an opening for a Staff Engineer Systems
Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This
position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. The candidate will
collaborate with the Chief Architect and Systems Engineering lead
to design architecture solutions for USAF Open Architecture
development. The role demands adaptability, innovative thinking,
and comfort with ambiguity, as it supports a new program with
evolving requirements. Candidates must understand and apply
traditional systems engineering concepts in an agile, accelerated
environment, be comfortable with multitasking and verbal
presentations, and document assumptions as needed. Key
Responsibilities: Work with the cross-functional teams to create
conceptual data models and data flows Design, develop, and document
systems that contain logical solutions using Model Based Systems
Engineering (MBSE) Review modifications of existing systems for
cross-compatibility Implement data strategies and developing
physical data models Coach team members on developing the
requirements, architecture, design, and implementation in the model
Perform Systems Requirements analysis Management of requirements,
include decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation ?

Qualifications (Staff Engineer Systems): Must have a Bachelor of
Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or
Math) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military
experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND
10 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM
Ph.D. AND 8 year of related professional/military experience. Must
have experience developing model-based systems engineering products
and/or Mission Engineering. Must have experience modeling software
systems and software system of systems. Must have experience with
Systems engineering tools (i.e. Cameo Suite) and Agile framework.
Must have an active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a
background investigation completed within the last 6 years or
currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the
ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance Must have
the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the
company Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Modeling and
Simulation Applied knowledge of aircraft design Experience in the
military aerospace development environment is preferred Experience
in integrating complex system across multiple domains Experience
demonstrating concepts to management and customers Experience with
Cameo large scale Vehicle development Experienced developing
various DODAF view artifacts, especially Operational and functional
viewpoints, using MBSE tools like CAMEO Primary Level Salary Range:
$152,900.00 - $229,300.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
