Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity Gainesville, FL We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Florida. This position offers flexible scheduling, a strong care team model, and a diverse case mix in a high-volume setting. Position Details: Shifts: Monday Friday (5x8s or 4x10s), approx. 7 AM 3 PM or 7 AM 5 PM Call & Weekends: Optional Case Types: General, Ortho, GI-Endo, Eyes, Healthy Peds, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Vascular, Cardiac Ablations, Interventional & Neuro-Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Bronchoscopy No Trauma or Cardiac cases (handled by the cardiac MD team) Average Monthly Cases: 1,800 Average Monthly OB Deliveries: 325 EMR System: Meditech Care Team Model: 25 CRNAs, 19 MDs Requirements: Active Florida License Board Certification Required (BE Not Accepted) Minimum 2 Years of Recent Experience Clean File & Background (No Prior Malpractice or Issues) BLS Certification Important Notes: Candidates must not have worked for Envision within the past 12 months or at this site (or an affiliated site) in the past 24 months . New candidates who have never worked for Envision must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the site. Credentialing takes 90 days and includes cross-credentialing at a nearby surgical center. A call or Zoom interview with the Site Medical Director is required before approval. Candidates must provide their best contact number and availability for an interview within the next two weeks.
