HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at the FSED Champions Gate facility. As a CT Technologist, you will be integral in providing expert diagnostic care using CT imaging technology. This role requires high precision and an empathetic understanding of patient needs, aligning with our commitment to delivering exceptional emergency care as well as specialized services in cardiology, women's health, and orthopedics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in CT technology, patient care, and safety protocols, ensuring our commitment to the healthcare needs of the Osceola County community. Operate CT equipment to produce images of patients' bones, organs, tissue, or blood flow. Collaborate with radiologists to determine proper examination and diagnostic techniques. Ensure the safety and comfort of the patient during scans, implementing radiation safety measures. Maintain patient records and adjust, maintain, or troubleshoot imaging equipment. Assist in training staff on current and emerging CT technology. Proficiency in CT equipment handling and image processing. Strong understanding of radiological safety and protection principles. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Technical skills to manage the operation and maintenance of CT imaging systems.
