Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
involves providing speech-language pathology services to elementary
students in a school setting, focusing on PreK through 5th grade.
The role entails working on-site two days per week (approximately
15 hours), supporting a shared caseload of 40-50 students out of a
total of 70-75. The successful candidate will collaborate closely
with the current Speech Language Pathologist, who will be adjusting
their schedule accordingly. Location: Sanford, FL Duration:
Contract role through the current school year, ending May 29, 2026
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive speech-language
assessments and develop individualized treatment plans - Deliver
direct therapy services tailored to student needs in a school
environment - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress - Maintain accurate
documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and
district policies - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP)
development Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Florida
Department of Health license for Speech Language Pathology required
- Professional licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist -
Experience working with elementary-aged children (PreK-5th grade)
in a school setting preferred - Ability to manage a varied caseload
effectively, including direct therapy and consultative services -
