Onsite Monday-Friday Reports to the VP Lab Operations Lab Structure
& Current State · The lab processes 100,000 tests/day in the core
lab (~60M/year) · Staff: 200 employees across clinical and
non-clinical functions Leadership: Two Lab Directors, each managing

and more SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related
sciences required. Master's degree is preferred Minimum 8yrs of
laboratory management experience of similar high complexity and
volume of testing required Intermediate computer skills and
proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS Medical Technologist
registry (ASCP, NCA, AAB or equivalent) required Florida
supervisory license preferred • Prioritize people leadership and
day-to-day operational oversight; Emphasize succession planning and
future bench strength at the leadership level Separate technical
functions from broader administrative and non-core responsibilities
Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills • Experience implementing new
programs or products in a clinical lab setting Here is what you can

What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position? ·
Demonstrated success leading large teams in high-volume lab
environments. · Experience managing technical or platform
transitions, ideally across multiple sites. · Proven ability to
oversee lab operations in compliance with CAP, federal, and state
clinical lab regulations. · Strong track record of developing
leaders, building bench strength, and upleveling team capability. ·
Effective communicator who builds trust, morale, and team
engagement across diverse teams. · Sets clear performance standards
and drives accountability through influence and collaboration. ·
Champions a culture of belonging and continuous development;
mentors emerging talent. · Helpful but not required: Experience
implementing new programs or products in a clinical lab setting. ·
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related sciences
required. Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and
certification are required] FL Supervisory license Medical
Technologist registry (ASCP, NCA, AAB or equivalent) required 8
years Lab Directorship Exp in High complexity Lab environment
Prefer Master's degree Client offers preventive dental/medical care
services to its members. Annual pay increases in October.
