working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Titusville, Florida, 32796! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in
specialty License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS,
NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with 1:6 patient ratio - Comfort
providing PCU level care Description: Candidates must have
experience and be comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio. Patients
typically require PCU level care. Floating is required within the
scope of practice. Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing
care experience is strongly preferred. Candidates are expected to
work 5 mandatory shifts during the clinical orientation week.
Participation in continuing education modules is required prior to
the start date. The facility requires that travelers work 1 evening
and 1 holiday if 1-2 holidays fall within the assignment. If 3
holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is required to
work 1 evening and 2 holidays. 3 call outs will result in
termination of the assignment. Notice given less than 48 hours
before a shift can result in forfeiting guaranteed hours. Notice
given 1 week or more in advance of a shift can result in
termination if the traveler refuses to change their schedule. All
travelers should be prepared to engage with COVID-positive
patients. Experience with telemetry and cardiac drips, along with
managing dysrhythmias, is required. Candidates must have adult and
geriatric nursing experience. Successful candidates will engage
with an interdisciplinary team including various support services.
