Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computerized
Tomography Technologist to join our healthcare team. In line with
our mission to innovate and provide excellent health services, we
require a professional who is committed to high standards of
patient care and detailed radiologic technology. As a CT
Technologist, you'll work alongside our compassionate team to
support our network of hospitals and clinics, utilizing advanced
imaging technology to diagnose and treat patients. Perform CT scans
on patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. Prepare and
maintain the CT equipment, making adjustments as necessary to
optimize scan results. Review and evaluate the images to ensure
high-quality results and to determine if additional images are
needed. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining
procedures and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with
radiologists and other medical staff to interpret the results of
imaging studies. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to
privacy regulations. Implement and adhere to health and safety
standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development
opportunities. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment Strong
analytical skills to assess scans and assist in diagnosis Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a
high-stress environment Detail-oriented with a strong focus on
