Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently. Maintain patient safety and confidentiality according to Ascension's protocols and regulatory requirements. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to achieve the best diagnostic outcome. Review and evaluate developed X-rays or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care. Keep detailed patient records and manage radiology information systems (RIS). Proficient in using imaging technology and equipment. Strong understanding of radiology protocols and safety measures. Exceptional patient management skills to ensure comfort and safety. Adept at utilizing digital teleradiology systems. Good communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as a Radiology Technician. CPR certification.
