Job Description Medical Laboratory Scientist | Hematopathology |
Full-time Performs simple and complex analysis on tissue, blood and
body fluids using laboratory instrumentation, manual methods and
standard operating procedures. Trains other technical personnel in
the performance of laboratory tasks. Approves the performance of
tests by technicians. Uses independent judgment and assumes
accountability for high quality standards. Qualifications Minimum
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in
Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent that meets qualifications
for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist from the
Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel Must meet state
licensure requirements as stated in FL Statue 64B3-5.003
Technologist One (1) year experience in NAACLS approved program OR
one (1) year working as a Technologist in a hospital laboratory
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must possess either a
temporary or current license as a State of Florida Clinical
Laboratory Technologist in Serology/Immunology and Hematology. For
