Job Description The Florida Institute of Neurology (FION) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN to join our growing neurology team. This role involves providing both in-office and Optional hospital-based (For Extra Pay) patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal for candidates who thrive in hands-on clinical settings and are passionate about neurological care. Work Schedule - Travel Full-time: 5 weekday shifts per week Travel required between clinic locations: Dr. Phillips, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Oviedo, Four Corners Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and physical examinations Obtain and review patient histories and medical records Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological conditions Order diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG Assist supervising neurologists in patient management and care planning Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-ups Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Collaborate with neurologists, medical staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Manage a full daily patient schedule Optional for Extra Pay: Participate in inpatient neurology rounds at designated hospitals Qualifications Must be U.S.-trained Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or APRN program Active and unrestricted Florida PA or APRN license , or ability to obtain Current PA-C/APRN certification Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (neurology or internal medicine preferred) Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient-care skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Willingness to travel within county locations as needed Bilingual candidates are a plus New graduates with a strong interest in neurology are encouraged to apply Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off Opportunity to work alongside experienced neurologists in a reputable, growing practice
