Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer EngineeringJob DescriptionFIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to gather and analyze business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Participate in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and recommendations. Maintain, test, and integrate different application components. Troubleshoot issues in production, address security risks, and mitigate vulnerabilities reported by Veracode and Blackduck scans.Design, develop, and test various elements of FIS proprietary Digital One product, a high-end, highly specialized software used by banks and financial institutions to run secure, regulated banking and financial operations across multiple technological environments. Technologies include HTML 5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 12, Java JDK 11, Enterprise Java Beans, Hibernate, JBOSS server, Eclipse, Core Metrics, Maven, Oracle 11G, MS SQL, Spring Boot, SOAP and Restful Webservices, SSO SAML Integration, LDAP Authentication, SMTP, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Docker, and more.Design and develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Ensure visual and interactive elements align with company branding and user experience standards. Develop unit tests, perform debugging, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose solutions. Document technical specifications and architectural designs. Participate in Sales team discussions on Statements of Work (SOW), providing technical feasibility, custom solutions, and high-level estimates.RequirementsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining financial services software applications, including Digital Banking products. Experience must include full systems lifecycle participation, software development with HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Java JDK, Enterprise Java Beans, Hibernate, JBOSS, Eclipse, Core Metrics, Maven, Oracle, MS SQL, Spring Boot, SOAP, RESTful Webservices, SSO SAML, LDAP, SMTP, Kubernetes, and Docker. Additional skills include responsive UI design, collaboration using Git, Maven, Jenkins, database design with Oracle, and supporting SDLC methodologies like Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.Alternatively, a Master's degree in the above fields with three (3) years of relevant experience is acceptable.
