Merchant Platform transformation, consolidating fragmented systems
into a unified experience for Merchants through ISO partners and
direct channels. Your Mission: Platform Consolidation: Migrate SMB
merchants to Salesforce while building modern onboarding and portal
experiences ISO Channel Focus: Build tools that enable ISO partners
to efficiently onboard and manage merchant portfolios SMB
Optimization: Reduce merchant activation from days to hours through
automation and self-service Technical Transformation: Lead
consolidation program delivering unified platform for all channels
Key Deliverables: Salesforce integration for SMB merchant
management (zero churn migration) Unified merchant portal with
self-service capabilities ISO partner enablement tools and
white-label capabilities Legacy system decommissioning (2-3 systems
retired) Why This Role Matters: This is a high-visibility
transformation role reporting directly to the SVP Payments
Engineering. You will shape Paysafes competitive positioning while
building the platform that serves thousands of Merchants and ISO
partners. Direct impact on revenue, retention, and operational
efficiency. Your Profile: Engineering Leadership: 15 years software
engineering, 5 years VP/Director level (50 engineers) Built and
scaled merchant-facing platforms or SaaS products Led major
platform consolidation or migration initiatives Proven track record
delivering complex, multi-year programs Payments & Merchant
Services: 5 years in payments, fintech, or merchant services
industry Deep understanding of merchant onboarding, underwriting,
lifecycle management Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring,
settlement, and card networks Experience with PCI compliance, fraud
prevention, risk management ISO/Channel Partner Business
(Critical): 3 years working with ISO partners, payment
facilitators, or channel sales Understanding of ISO economics:
residuals, revenue sharing, portfolio management Experience
building ISO-facing tools, portals, or partner enablement platforms
Knowledge of white-label or multi-tenant partner solutions SMB
Merchant Focus (Critical): 3 years building products for SMB
merchants (sub-$5M revenue businesses) Understanding of SMB needs,
pain points, self-service requirements Experience optimizing
onboarding and activation for high-volume, low-touch segments
Knowledge of SMB verticals: retail, hospitality, professional
services Technical Depth: Strong architecture skills: APIs,
microservices, cloud-native design SaaS platform experience:
multi-tenancy, scalability, data isolation Modern stack: React,
Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL/DynamoDB Salesforce integration patterns
and architecture DevOps and CI/CD for continuous delivery
Nice-to-Haves Experience at modern payment platforms Led Salesforce
migration for merchant/customer management Built merchant portals
with real-time analytics and reporting Embedded payments or ISV
partnership experience E-commerce platforms or marketplace payments
background Gaming or high-risk vertical experience Leadership
