Job Description Job Description Leap Frog Divorce is growing and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in divorce and paternity matters. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements, mediation, and attending court hearings for divorce, paternity, parenting, time sharing, equitable distribution, alimony/spousal support, child support and related matters. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. Compensation: $125,000 base plus performance commission Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings Qualifications: Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in Florida Must have handled at least 40 hearings, 20 trials, and at least 20 mediations Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus Demonstrated ability to provide empathy About Company WHAT IS LEAP FROG DIVORCE ABOUT?
