Main Ingredients of the Job!

As a US FOODS TRUCK Washer you will be responsible for:

* Washing exterior of tractors, interior of trailers and moving equipment around the truck yard.


* Check oil, wash windows, check tire pressures and maintain proper fluid levels in tractors and T-K units.


* Report service issues to the maintenance shop.


* Keep track of assigned jobs by logging in and out of the ShopFax maintenance system.


* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines

Schedule

Day Shift : 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

Rate of Pay : $18.00 an hour

What you bring to the table

Education/Training:

* High school diploma/GED preferred.



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Ability to drive and operate fleet equipment, tractor, trailer, and service vehicles.


* Ability to perform cleaning activities on all fleet equipment.


* Ability to assess trailer/tractor sanitation requirement.


* Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.


* Must be willing to work an irregular schedule to include any shift, weekends, and holidays.


* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.


* Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written communications.


* CDL Class A preferred.



Related Experience/Requirements:

* Must have a valid state Driver's License


* Ability to drive and operate Fleet equipment, tractor, trailer and service vehicles.


* Must have the ability to work Monday - Friday with some weekends and holidays.



Physical Requirements: Remove section if not needed.

* Bending, stooping, and occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
