Job Description:
Overview: This role is responsible for the development,
integration, and implementation of a broad range of initiatives
relative to the direction of the organization. The Vice President
of Retail Operations will interface directly with field and
corporate management and will develop and lead this fast-growing
sector of the company's holdings. The position is based in the
field and reports to the CEO, Partners with VP of Procurement
Sourcing, Leads Store Teams, and Collaborates with cross-functional
Support Departments. Responsibilities Drive sales results by
analyzing and reacting to information provided. Communicate any/all
data and reporting needed to properly drive the business. Monitor
and manage inventory levels, acting as the Liaison between the
Corporate office and the Field. Visit stores regularly and
consistently, providing constructive feedback which will positively
impact the business, improve store aesthetic, drive compliance, and
develop the teams. Schedule store visits based on ?needs of the
business' (analysis, volume, training, staffing, events). Identify
talent, anticipate open positions, & guide manpower plans to ensure
the business is protected. Develop field teams through motivating,
coaching & counseling, setting obtainable goals, and providing
feedback. Intervene in employee issues before they escalate to the
Corporate Office. Foster two-way communication with the field to
promote an environment of learning and ownership. Share examples of
outstanding store set ups and business acumen. Ensure that Company
policies and procedures are adhered to and act in the best interest
of the company. Champion compliance with the commitment that all
stores adhere to state laws, regulation, and internal SOP's,
without exception. Lead the store workforce management team to
drive efficiencies in store scheduling, payroll forecasting,
reporting and administration of incentive programs. Partner with
the finance and accounting department to analyze store incentive
programs to recommend changes that will drive top line growth
and/or expense savings. Drive operational excellence in stores by
creating consistent and efficient BOH standards across the entire
fleet. Partner with the finance and accounting department to manage
store expenses and drive cost savings. Collaborate with the
marketing and communications team to refine omni-channel strategies
to continuously deliver a seamless end to end customer experience
that spans both online and stores. Stay informed of new technology
and cannabis industry initiatives to drive innovation and
efficiency within stores. Partner with the Human Resources
department to support hiring, training tools and new hire
onboarding process to enhance customer experience and increase
store productivity. Establish the rules of engagement to ensure
that clear expectations are set and agreed upon between business
units while fostering collaborative working relationships with
retail operations to drive business growth, strategic initiatives
and National operational standards. Required Skills and Experience
10 years of Retail Multi-unit Store management. Able to manage
multiple projects w/ deadlines, prioritizing & delegating as
needed, within a fast-paced industry. Proven leadership ability, as
well as strength in partnership-building, working
cross-functionally to continuously improve upon retail processes
and efficiencies. Ability to think strategically and tactically,
develop achievable short and long-term goals. History of
exceptional employee development; spearheading training programs,
delivering effective performance reviews, leading and mentoring
both in the moment and through guided strategy and planning. Strong
organizational and time management skills to successfully implement
initiatives from concept to execution Expert in retail operations,
including but not limited to inventory control, loss prevention,
retail systems, merchandising, customer service, talent planning,
and store budget preparation and adherence Strong quantitative and
analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Strong
communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills;
effectively providing written and verbal direction
Education/Licenses High School Diploma required Compensation and
