Reporting: The Materials Lead reports directly to the Materials Manager. Core Competencies: Accountability Attention to detail Problem-solving Effective communication, both verbal and written Confidentiality Excellent investigation and critical-thinking ability Judgement Professionalism Organization and time management skills Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities: Act as the liaison between Stores and all other Ensure the Stores Clerks issue and document parts to the floor, ensuring requisitions are accurate, and data entry is complete and from appropriate Work with purchasing in ordering out of stock parts, maintaining files and checking shelf life of inventory. Assist in the control and maintenance of an accurate inventory by following Avmax procedures and Ensure that inventory items are being procured in a timely Communicate effectively with Production. Work and Planning and personnel to ensure that material requirements are Maintain material schedules for projects assigned and report delivery Ensure compliance with the Avmax Montana Inc. Participate in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Qualifications: Ability to motivate employees. Demonstrated capability in supervising others; demonstrated ability to lead and mentor people. Assists in building and maintaining a work environment that promotes growth, increases morale and reduces the risk of dis-engaged employees. Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax. Shows integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge. Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise. Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. Experience: Minimum 5 years' industry experience.
